Tales Of The Jedi, a new series of animated shorts created, written and produced by Dave Filoni, will premiere next Wednesday, October 26th on Disney Plus. Wednesdays also happen to be the day when new episodes of Andor are released. Recently there has been data released which indicates that demand for Andor is lower than the demand for other recent Star Wars live action series. Keeping the numbers in mind, I wonder if it's right to release Tales of the Jedi the same day as Andor.
It also happens that Andor has 6 episodes left. Tales of The Jedi is also a total of 6 shorts, which means that a total of 5 episodes of Andor will overlap with the release of Tales of The Jedi. In recent years, The Clone Wars has continued to remain popular and a series featuring beloved characters like Ahsoka, Anakin and Yoda may end up stealing the thunder just a bit from Andor.
Regardless, Andor continues to impress with its quality writing, direction and performances and hardcore Star Wars fans will be delighted to have so much content in the coming months with two shows overlapping. Will you be watching Tales of The Jedi?
