Mary Elizabeth Winstead Cast As Live Action Hera Syndulla in 'Ahsoka'.

Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey) has been cast as the live action Hera Syndulla for the Ahsoka series. It's long been rumored that Winstead had been cast for a role in Ahsoka, but it wasn't confirmed until now. BespinBulletin.com reported that according to their reliable sources, Winstead is indeed playing Hera. 


The Ahsoka series wrapped up filming last month and will be releasing on Disney+ next year. Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Day Shift) and Eman Esfandi (Kind Richard) have been cast as Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger, respectively. Lars Mikkelsen is rumored to reprise his role as Grand Admiral Thrawn after voicing the animated version of Thrawn in Star Wars: Rebels.
