Unconfirmed rumors suggest that Rosario Dawson will reprise her role as Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian season 3. Since the Ahsoka series is a spinoff of The Mandalorian and takes place during the same timeline, characters crossing over from one show to another can be expected. However, her potential role in season 3 leads to several exciting possibilities. Will she end up coming to Mandalore, or will we see her elsewhere, perhaps back on Corvis, the planet we find her on in The Mandalorian season 2.
Anyone who is familiar with Ahsoka's story in The Clone Wars and Rebels is aware that she has her own personal history with Mandalore and Mandalorians. Ahsoka went to Mandalore for several missions, including a pivotal arc at the end of The Clone Wars. She became friends with Bo Katan Kryze during The Clone Wars, and with Sabine Wren during Rebels. It was Bo Katan who led Din Djarin to Ahsoka in The Mandalorian season 2, so the two are clearly in touch.
If Ahsoka is in season 3 of the Mandalorian, it would be interesting to see her reaction to the conflict over the darksaber. Will she support Bo Katan or take a more neutral stance? Will we see her helping Din Djarin learn to wield the darksaber, or will there be tension between them over the return of Grogu after his abrupt departure from his training with Luke Skywalker? Or perhaps the link between Ahsoka's own show and The Mandalorian is due to Ahsoka's search of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
